We have campaigned our Silver Bullet for the last 2 years in Fun Ford Weekend with great Results, but there was something missing.
We wanted a car that could run solid 9 second passes on demand but still have manners for the street. Until Now we haven't had this, and that's about to change. Teaming up with Edelbrock for the 2009 Race Season, we enlisted the help of one their new Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System for the 2005-09 Ford Mustang 4.6L 3V.
The Base kit at 5lbs of Boost makes 466HP and 439 TQ , so we knew by cranking up the boost a bit we could achieve our goal with their help.
The core of the system is the all new Eaton Gen VI TVSŪ Supercharger rotating assembly. The TVS design is one of Choice by most high Horsepower Superchargers. The New 15" Runner design also allows more low end torque as well as No need for CMCV Delete plates. One of the Vest Parts of this supercharger we feel is the Innercooler design, It's the Largest on the market at the moment and when making power counts, you need a cool intake air charge. The routing of the air is another great new design, most S/C Companies have the air going thru the innercooler at a downward angle, the new E-Force S/C has it coming up to the intake runner for a more straight shot and less chance of turbulant air into the motor.
